Mark
Kenneth Woods is a Vancouver-based media artist, writer
and performer whose short works have screened internationally
and have won a number of awards. He is a graduate of
the Vancouver Film School and the University of Toronto’s
cinema studies program and also holds a Master’s
degree in communication and cultural studies from York
University in Toronto. Mark is currently working as
producer/writer/actor on his TV series "The House
of Venus Show" (OUTtv, here!, Pink TV), has recently
completed his first full length feature "Deb and
Sisi", is also a dj and has taught at the School
for the Contemporary Arts at Simon Fraser University. |

| We
are thrilled to announce that the House of Venus
Show is finally "here" in the USA.
On here! network that
is! The show will start airing in the US on August
8th, 2008 with Episodes 1 + 2. This will be followed
by Episodes 3 + 4 on August 22nd, Episodes
5 + 6 on September 5th, Episodes 7+ 8
on September 19th with more
new episodes airing in October. The network
is available via most cable providers like Comcast and

My
first feature length film Deb
and Sisi will
have its world premiere as part of Out
On Sreen: Vancouver Queer Film Festival on Saturday,
August 16th at 9:30pm at Cinemark Tinseltown.
The screening is expected to sell out so buy your tickets
in advance online at the festival's website here.
Writer,
director and star Mark Kenneth Woods will be in attendence
along with cast member Michael Venus and others. The
screening will be followed by "Deb and
Sisi's I Could Never Drink Alone" party. Location
TBA at the Screening. Come mingle with the
cast and crew. Admission to the party will be free with
your ticket stub or festival pass.

release party! This time we'll be meeting
and greeting fans, guests and friends between 8pm-9pm
at Here Lounge, 696 Robertson Blvd. in West Hollywood
on Saturday, April 12, 2008. So come
