This film has been used as the closing piece of Bill Taylor's touring program "Lock Up Your Sons And Daughters: Anti-Queer films 1950s - 1990s".

The program deals with how past films educated the public on how 'nasty' homosexuality is/was and can be and utilizes many different formats on how this was accomplished. From simple children's educational films, to films shown to civic groups to downright religious hate propaganda. The films are sometimes scary, hateful, but all of them are very funny to watch. The Heterosexual Agenda was made as a response to these kinds of films.

The program was hailed in the German media as being "psychologically fascinating".

For more information on the program, please visit the "Lock Up Your Sons and Daughters" website.
